What is Family Law?

Family law, in the broadest sense, covers any litigation or transaction which brings the family together or severs ties between family members. The definition might seem basic, but because family law issues can cross over into other areas of the law, it is important to use an experienced family law attorney in Chattanooga to protect yours and your family's best interests.

What Does a Family Lawyer Do?

A family lawyer oversees the well-being, obligations, and rights of certain family members including children, spouses, domestic partners, and others who might be considered family. Drew Clements is devoted to the practice of family law and can guide you through the process from start to finish.

You have rights pertaining to your children, your property, and your dignity. You also may have responsibilities related to your spouse or children. Many spouses come to terms amicably and swiftly, making the process easier and substantially less stressful. Other couples cannot agree to terms and require someone who will fight for their interests.

Our Chattanooga family lawyer understands the complexity in the legal issues impacting Tennessee families. We are ready to stand with you and your family through the process. Contact us today to set up a remote consultation and cost estimate. Remember, justice delayed is justice denied. Don’t delay in handling the legal needs of your family.
