Robert J. Wilkinson

Robert Jay Wilkinson is a native of Chattanooga, TN. He graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1985 with a Bachelors of Science in Economics, a Bachelors of Art. in Political Science and a Secondary Education Teacher Certification for the Social Sciences. He graduated in 1989 with a J.D. Degree from the Walter F. George School of Law, Mercer University, Macon, GA.

Robert has been practicing law for over two decades and his primary area of practice is Consumer Bankruptcy. As an accomplished Chattanooga Bankruptcy Attorney, Robert has over 20 years’ experience in Debtor practice, Creditor’s rights, and Default Services. He also served as an attorney in the Office of the Chapter 13 Trustee in Atlanta, GA and worked as an attorney for several Chapter 7 Trustees.

To wrap up his incredible law resume, Robert was recently appointed to the Chapter 7 Trustee Panel, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Eastern District of Tennessee.

When Robert isn’t working hard to help his clients and his community, he enjoys cooking, hiking, traveling and spending time with family and his golden retriever Buckley.
